Amnesty International Annual Conference 2016
Amnesty International Ireland Annual Conference 2016
It has never been more important to be a human rights activist.
Your Rights. Your Amnesty. Your Decisions.
When: 16-17 April 2016
Where: Dublin City Centre (venue to be confirmed)
Each year, our Annual Conference brings together members and activists to discuss the human rights issues that unite us all. It is designed to inspire, educate and empower you to play your part as we make decisions that shape the future of Amnesty International in Ireland and around the world.
Open to all Amnesty International members and their guests, this two-day event will feature inspiring international speakers and human rights defenders who will share their expertise on a broad range of human rights topics. Delegates will be invited to take part in workshops designed to inform and empower their activism, and to learn more about our campaigns.
This year’s Annual Conference will have a packed agenda. Our ongoing work on the My Body, My Rights and SOS Europe campaigns will be examined in detail, with expert speakers and interactive workshops. Amnesty’s work to secure the release of prisoners of conscience and the protection of individuals at risk of human rights violations across the globe will also be discussed.
You are central to this vital work.
Join us and play your part in shaping our policies, priorities and campaigns.
A detailed agenda will be available soon.
